Those represses really suck....although good for the band and label.
First we have to buy the ULTRA limited and rare version in some colored vinyl expensive or trade it hard and then there is a repress anyway...in the same or slightly different color.
This makes no sense, I wil not support this anymore or I will start getting modern and buy mp3 or satanic style digital music on CD or so...

ok Peter,
you give me the opportunity to state some things...
1) it's a shame that some fans do not own this masterpiece of metal music, on vinyl format, and believe me it's not only 500 who need this...
2) i never said it would be 500 and no more pressing will happen..
3) for collectors or people who want to become rich by reselling it's maybe a problem, i do not think/work like this.....
4) Many/Few other labels do second pressings..
5) the album was sold out in 10 days, and not even major mailorders got copies, cause most of them were sold during the mini European tour on january/february..
6) not even the band got many copies ( like Rob said it was 7 (by the way, i remembered it was few, but not the exact number.. working for CIA????). Now the band will have their copies as well!!!! ( Rob- it's gonna be 50,is this ok?)
7) this record + band belong to the heavy metal pantheon...not to greedy/show off vinyl collectors.....
No hard feeling Peter, ok? i keep one copy for you!

On the contrary, it makes perfect sense. People who didn't buy it the first time for whatever reason now have a second chance. And without having to pay $100 for it. Fortunately it wasn't a release for the 'chosen few'. Nevermind the different colour and all the other slight differences, those things are important for people who are collecting stamps. |

I can understand both sides, if i were a label owner, i'd probably do the same thing if there is such a big demand, sure. But as a collector, of course it sucks, every collector thinks that way, everyone wants to own something sepcial, evem though not everyone admits it, eh?
Here i've ordered them straight from Greg and paid much more for the shipping as if i would get it at HRR, where i usually buy all the new releases in one big purchase to avoid costs. Well, nevermind, one more reason to focus on original 80s vinyl for me.
@ION stamp collector, haha, good one. Never heard that one before.  |

No, a friend of the band told me how few copies they got. We tried to buy a copy from the band but they said no.

This is just stupid Mr. Ion Britton. Just you Greek stamp collector guys sold the first edition on ebay in the end for hard money. It has nothing to do with collecting...
It is just first pulling high prices for the vinyl then repressing it and I getting it for 15-20 € again... the people who had to pay 30 or 40 € for thei copies are the losers, cause selling it with "soon sold out" "last copies" is the bad thing.....They surely had no info about the second edition although it was clear it would come... |

| People who have more money than sense would bid at 40 euros to get their copy. And if you are willing to spend 40 euros for a 15 euro album that was sold out 1 month ago, you sure have more money than sense for me. Maybe also the same people didn't buy it when it was first out because it wasn't 'rare' at that time. But when it became rare they suddenly got interested about it. Those who as you say saw the 2nd pressing coming just waited patiently and will get their copy at a normal price now. |
