Not a riff, but the second half of the chorus on Dr Mastermind's "Control" has the same vocal melody as "London Dungeon" |

Yep a definite influence on the band and section of worship there. Top album. |

| They are the same chords, Mustaine simply played them as arpeggios in "Hangar 18". Not really "revenge" as he is credited on the "original" too. |

One i noticed recently is:
MANILLA ROAD - The Teacher (from "Mark Of The Beast")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIP_SwJ8PnM
where the main riff is almost identical to the main riff in:
MANOWAR - Fighting The World (from "Fighting The World")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXrdTO8mag0
except Manowar play it far slower.
Not sure if it's a true "rip-off" as the Manilla Road song, despite being recorded in 1981, wasn't officially released until 2002, so it seems unlikely that the Mano-warriors would have been aware of it when they recorded "Fighting The World" in 1987.
Unless someone knows something to the contrary. |

| SOOTHSAYER - E.T., the same beginning with RUSH's Xanadu. Weird album. |

| Yeah...I almost started singing On your knees for the Master... when I first heard it! They must have heard some material from Master at that time, the vocals in some other tracks remind me strongly that of Speckman. |

| Ripper "Death Awaits You" in the lead break 04:53- there's a bit of the "Star Wars - The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)" |

| Not the same riff but the vocal melodies of the pre-chorus of ABACINATE's Drug Addiction are very similar to those of the chorus of DEICIDE's Sacrificial Suicide! DEICIDE's track (as AMON) predates ABACINATE. |

| There's a strong air of DISCHARGE's Free Speech For The Dumb in the main riff of SCARAB's Fighting For The Right. |
