AGENT STEEL - 144000 Gone = JAG PANZER - Shadow Thief.

The intro, especially when the vocals enter.

GBH's track is from '83.

Point.

This is ridiculous. Loudness has nothing to do with this band. Akira Takasaki is one of the most original songwriters and guitar players in metal. He always had his own original ideas, so for him to rip off this band, was no need.

Loudness weren't necessarily being accused of ripoffery. Greg just heard a similarity, that's all.

Well, this must be true to some extent because it was mentioned previously here:

IRON MAIDEN - "Infinite Dreams" / "The Clansman" intros. Not -exactly- the same but definetely a riff-off.

That would have been impossible... Evil Possessor had been around quite a while and the version on the debut was recorded before W.A.S.P. had released Wild Child.

I probably should have clarified that I only agreed that the two weren't that similar. Not that my opinion matched exactly with IB's.

Don't remember the name of the songs but IMPULSE (BUL) lifted off an entire song from Racer X on Gladiator LP

ICEBERG (BUL) lifted off Flotsam's "Suffer the Masses." They also dissected Agent Steel's "The Day at Guyana" and used riffs off it throughout the entire Heretic album, mixed with some Candlemass and Iron Maiden. A shame really, coz the album is good
