It was mostly Irish demos I got back in the day and I enjoyed

Fifth Dominion
Tricifix
Cruachan

and a great crazy band called OGRE who had two demos and a cd out both of which I sold unfortunately, still kicking myself over that one.

Also I remember loving Impaled Nazarene demos, more than the first album actually!

The only Secrecy demo that I know is "Like Burning One's Boats" from 1988 and that's a killer demo. Easily as good as the later LP's.

Other special demos:

Anacrusis - Annihilation Complete
Wicked Angel - Chaotic Intellect
Kingsbane - same
Oblivion - Quest For Power
Lucifer's Heritage - Battalions Of Fear
Heathen's Rage - Fight 'til The End
Baron Steele - 1987 Demo
Valkyrie - Deeds Of Prowess

That Secrecy demo from 92 is in the same vein. One of the most underrated bands ever imo. That demo did not have a cover and had 5 tracks on it. Too bad I have it on tape and don`t have programs and knowledge how to transform it to mp3. But I guess it can be found on the internet...

Sounds interesting. Who are they? Is it possible to upload?

If anyone else can find the two Secrecy demos and upload them to Poisonoise I'd appreciate it extremely. I've heard how they're as good or better than the LPs and I love the LPs so I want to exhaust this legend at some point!

Is there any other Secrecy demo apart from ''Like burning..."?

I can upload LBOB if you need it, only problem is that i don't remember how the sound quality of my rip was, i think it was very listenable though

Great demos I either hadn't heard or forgot to list previously:

1.Demilich-The Four Instructive Tales of Decomposition
2.Parasite(SWE)-1983 demo(waaay better than the EP)
3.Ras Algethi-Oblita Divinitas
4.Killerhawk-1983 demo
5.Timeghoul-Tumultuous Travelings & Panaramic Twilight
6.Cynic-demo 1991(I'll gladly take this over "Focus")
7.Max Planck-Kill the Pain demo
8.Embrionic Death-Stream of Solidarity

EDIT:Already had Max Planck so I substitute Thunderway's "The Order Executors" demo

The one I have is from 92, so recorded after their LPs...
About the Whetstone demo, if I recall right it was typical German Power Metal from the late 80s.
I need to ask some of my friends if they have a double deck, so that I could probably do at least a dub...

I'd appreciate it, ION. And yeah I think there's a demo after the LPs.
