I came by another copy of METAL MERCY "The Unborn Child" at a local record shop today for the price of 70 SEK, which is about US$10, bargain if you ask me!
I also came by AIR BORNE "In United kingdom" 7", but the seller wanted to to some price check, first... what is this one worth?
Same seller also had the 7" "Wasted Love" by swedish band LAYOUT, it looked like crap, but perhaps it's worth buying only to trade/sell??? |

I'd really like to have the Abraxas and Kingsbane demos. |

That's what a copy sold for last summer, though it's sleeve was a bit more worn.
For a long time only 1 copy of this was known, but in the past year at least 3 more have surfaced. Personally I'm not too keen on the music, though I know some others like it. I'd say this copy was a good buy given its rarity. |

| I've never heard it, so I can't really tell. But I've seen it on some pretty big collector wantlists, so I figured it was sought after. Thanks for the info - I didn't bid, so I guess I'll just wait until another copy comes along. |

Yeah, lots of folks were curious about it since only one person had it for a number of years. But now more copies have turned up, and I think some sound clips (not full songs) are floating around. As I recall, at least one of the songs has a cello or an electric violin or something on it, so it has a kinda weird sound. Not awful or anything, but not my cup of tea.
I saw the auction too, and I also forgot to bid, but TBH I wouldn't have bid more than maybe $30 for it. In terms of rarity $30 was a good buy, but the music just doesn't interest me personally, so I would have bought it just to trade it for something I like better. And it's not easy to trade an obscure single when the pic sleeve has noticeable wear, given how picky most metal collectors are about condition. Thus, I'm not losing any sleep over forgetting to bid.
To those who like the music on it, yeah, you should have bid on it IMO |
