I just noticed that Balkanton vinyl has no clear pressing date written on the LP or sleeve, how does one tell when a vinyl was pressed?

Any help understanding this would help, I never trusted information 100% that I have not been able to verify against a reliable source (like an album sleeve or an LP label).

Just take a closer look on the labels. As example the Dr. Doolittle 7":
There on the right side:

BTTTS
2001-A
BDC 4648-88

In 90 % of all cases this is refering to the year the record was pressed in.

FSB - I Love You Up To Here says -79 but it was released in 1987, it's too many "errors" like that for me to use that as an indicator of when something was released.

Ah, I see, I've just checked some other records and I think I've found the missing hint. Check the Matrix codes. I've done so far for Trotyl - 7" (91), Era LP (93), Era/Concurrent (89), Axat (89) etc ...

That's the year! But it also means the Dr. Doolittle 7" was pressed in 1991, not 1988! But it would fit with the Trotyl 7"!

Some tracks are nice. Keep in mind though that I like AOR / Hard Rock as much as I like Heavy Metal. I know I am not at all true, I don't give a shit Razz

I enjoy a lot of melodic rock and AOR stuff as well. Now that one didnt clicked with me at all, the first LP is way better IMO...
You should check out Shturzite if you didnt already.

But Shurzite is more Rock imo. I have that LP with the motorbike rider and hate it. Are the others better?

First FSBs "rockier" from what i remember.

I have Musketeers' March by Shturzite and love it, the best tracks sound like Toto IV.

Shturtsite's 20-i Vek is a great LP. I have their first 2 which are very old sounding rock, almost pre-distortion. If you hate it that much and it's complete and in great condition, send me a PM if you can consider selling it to me.

FSB vary a lot from LP to LP, some are AOR, some are psyche, some are hard rock etc.

Nah, can't sell it since 2 trax (or so) are nice Hard Rock, but I had an earlier LP (1980 I think) of them too not so long ago and immediately enclosed it in the next parcel I had to ship to anyone. I couldn't keep it, I had evil nightmares. It had nothing to do with AOR or Hard Rock.
