Yes, the limited edition, but I haven't watched the dvd yet. Will do on friday, I guess.
And I agree with you, Division Blindée is a little bit better, but Immortel is much better than I expected after hearing the track Astral Wally posted earlier in this thread. |

The dvd is great. Sounds really good and they seem to be having one hell of a time on stage.
Favorites from the new album is so far the titletrack, Messe Rouge ,Baptême de Sang, Les Larmes du Diable and Le Dernier Geste. Love it. |

I was wrong. I thought it was Klod because he's doing most of the backing vocals (he was the DER KAISER singer), but it's Dog (the drummer) who sings the chorus of "Baptême du sang". |

So, do the french people enjoy the new album?
I haven't seen a review or opinion on "Immortel" anywhere else. Guess the record label and the band simply focus on France.
I still find it very good, although a notch below Division Blindée.
Division Blindée - 8,5/10

The label is french, so all most all the promotion is made through french magazines and webzines.
There are some album reviews on the web but they're written in french.
Most people thinks like you, it's a good album but "Division Blindée" is superior.
Too bad, the band had to cancelled some gigs recenlty due to personal issues. |
