| The song was ok. At least better than the other Burning Starr-stuff I've heard. Nice artwork. |

| Listened to the album just once so far. A litte too mellow maybe, but I quite like the singer. |

Jack Starr / Burning Starr / whatever was never known as being the heaviest band around. "No Turning Back" was probably the bands most pounding release.
The new track sounds promising. I don't know if all of the songs on the new album are in the same vein but this track is solid. I also like that the production isn't done in an overtly modern way. The guitars could have been a little grittier but I can't complain too much. The biggest turn off I have with new bands is super clean modern production values. |

| "Sands Of Time" from the new album is a killer tune. |

| How is it, compared to the previous one (Defiance)? |

Much better, more up tempo stuff and more like the 80ies records. |

Goood!! "Defiance" was almost a let down. Hardly above average. |

Very similar in the sense that it focuses strongly on galopping epic metal rather than the straight forward hard rockish metal on the old Burning Starr records. However the new one is more upbeat and up tempo than the previous. I think it's better but I like Defiance as well. |

Hm... I never agreed that Defiance is actually epic oriented... The cover and the titles/lyrics probably, but the music itself not too much. I dunno... Maybe I'm always expecting a "No turning Back part II" and this is why I get dissapointed...
PS. Hey!!! The sample is very good indeed!! Very tempting appetizer! |

That sample was great.
The album is out since today in case anyone missed it. |

| Impressive effort!!! Granpa Jack sounds very fresh and energetic. Light years ahead from the last Virgin Steele albums! Honorary mention to the outstanding vox!! Of course it's not perfect; some weaker compositions do exist and some melodies sound "familiar", but it's much better than the 90% of the overhyped bullshit out there. |

| Received this one today. Only played it once, but this was quite enjoyable. A little boring in places, but a pretty good album. Great vocalist. |
