Both the fact that the records were manufactured in France and the French-sounding band name of Bullet Records' LE GRIFFE (UK) have lead some to belive that this was a French label. Not so. They hailed from Stoke-On-Trent and were as British as warm, stale beer. The CONT-, CULP-, BULP- and BOLT-serial#'s might seem confusing at first, but here's what I figure: CONT = reissues CULP = licence pressings BULP = LPs and MLPs (33 rpm) BOLT = 12" EPs (45 rpm) BOL = 7"s
